Scénique was built by one working life in two worlds. Thomas Hayes was raised in a third-generation wallcovering family and has installed some of the most demanding materials in the finest homes in the U.S. He also spent decades as an aerospace engineer — fighter-jet optics at Lockheed Martin, a patent along the way — where precision wasn’t an aspiration; it was the job.
